"Ovidiu Avram's painting is a construction of forms and colors, where the portal of infinite combinations is open, the creation itself transforming into a compact structure, marked by equilibrium and spirituality. The human body often becomes a symbiotic element within the inorganic world. The arch of a building or a fantastic creature is placed on an equal footing, offering an image of a realm that seems to be contrived on the principle that time and space commingle, creating a spiritual singularity… In Ovidiu Avram's universe, Idola Theatri grows into a concept that extends beyond the limits of Novum Organum, becoming a visual sphere represented by overlapping components and constructions frequently cataloged as illogical yet harmonious."
