"A distinctly personal universe has been brought to life, with its fluid and permeable frontiers between the real and the imaginary, a universe populated by ambiguous, well known, yet enigmatic 'characters' who constitute a heterogeneous mythology full of the artist's individuality… The painter is fascinated by sumptuous materiality, he courts matter and seduces it through a laborious travail that reaches a remarkable level of loyalty in the optical-tactile representation of the prodigiously colored epidermis, as well as detailed with the obstinacy exemplifying the draughtsmanship of a miniaturist. The poetic aspiration towards higher realms of symbolism's existence is admirably served by directing luminosity as a savant, the elaboration of which reveals the artist's veiled confession about a secret vocation of his: that of a magician."

    Support for The Alfa Goup Association for over a decade, through his collaboration with Corneliu Goia. Ovidiu Avram's paintings contribute to sustaining impoverished children and adolescents.

    Visual universe for Dante's Inferno, the immersive theater show at MINA, the Museum of Immersive New Art, featuring acting, art, and music, Cluj-Napoca, Romania, created with paintings by Ovidiu Avram.

    Invited as the guest of honor along with artist Nicolae Maniu at Artfest100, Art Festival with conferences, Romanian and international fine artists, as well as live music celebrating the centennial of the Great Unification of 1918, Alba Carolina Fortress, Alba Iulia, Romania. Painting workshops for children organized at Museikon. Ovidiu Avram's paintings displayed at The Principia Museum, Alba Iulia. Donation of artworks to the charitable gala, as part of Artfest100, a fundraiser for the construction of the Maria Beatrice National Pediatric Medical Recovery Center.
